Beberapa pemakai handset BlackBerry yang menjadi pelanggan HotSpot internet rumahan mengeluhkan ( sebut saja curcol :D ) kenapa udah berlangganan paket BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) sebulan sekitar 100 ribuan tapi pulsanya masih kepotong juga untuk aktifitas browsing dan internet lainnya? Kupikir karena APN dalam keadaan aktif, ternyata tidak. Akhirnya uji coba iseng untuk tahu pasti aplikasi apa yang nyedot pulsa dan tidak masuk dalam layanan paket BIS telkomsel. Caranya pertama, cek pulsa dulu berapa sebelum mulai menjalankan aplikasi yang dicurigai menyedot pulsa dan pulsanya dicek lagi setelah jalankan satu aplikasi. Ternyata baru menjalankan opera mobile pulsanya sudah berkurang. Jadi ada "bukti" untuk telpon layanan pelanggan telkomsel dan menanyakan kok bisa begitu. Ternyata, semua aplikasi blackberry yang tidak diunduh dan install dari aplikasi blackberry application world akan kena charge koneksi GPRS yang volume based. Kok beda ya dengan operator lain? K...
